Once more I have had the honor of receiving the award for being the Swedish Adventurer of the Year. 2014 it was given to me and my sister Caroline, 2016 it was given to me as a Solo Sister. It feels so sweet. This is how the jury described me and my South Pole adventure:
“Johanna Davidsson will recieve the award för her 2 270 kilometer long adventure, where she skied to the South Pole during 39 days and returning with a kite during only 12 days. That makes her the first Swede to complete a return journey and solo expedition to the South Pole. The adventure was an exemplary success due to good planning, innovative implementation and a full on positive spirit.”
