I have been getting reports about the comments on the Solo Sister blog, Facebook and Instagram. Feels great to hear the response on this adventure. One thing that always makes me happy is if I can I inspire other people to follow their dreams. Maybe it is easier to inspire women because I am one, but I hope to inspire both men and women equally. When I was sailing across the Indian Ocean I was thrilled by the thought of being able to sail anywhere I wanted on the world’s oceans. I’ve always been drawn to the snow and ice, but experiencing some of my favorite destinations, like Svalbard, Greenland, and now even Antarctica, it doesn’t always have to require years of preparation.
