Before I left on this expedition I thought I would get tired of the freeze dried food. But no. For every lunch and dinner I look forward to BlåBands outdoor meals. Sometimes I add dried fish from Havgull, spices, cheese and always butter. For breakfast I’m eating homemade müsli with ingredients from Eidehandel. And in between the nutmix from the happy smiley-face-bag, with chocolate, cheese, salami, energy bars, chips, biscuits and more chocolate. At the South Pole I had lost about 8 kilos of body weight and before I left I gained maybe 7 or 8 kilos.
Today is restday! Lovin my me-time in the tent. Reading, listening to music, writing, sleeping and eating.
